For all those looking for some new noise-pop that will bring back to the 90s The Pains of Being Pure at Heart are a wonderful find.
Got some great pop sounds in here. Their sound is nostalgic but not in a bad way at all, and is definitely something you want to be listening to on our way into the Spring. They are fun, strong, and have that property that makes you think you are in a movie when you listen to them. Taking cues from old time classics from the 80s and 90s the sound is old and fresh and makes for a great time. The video for their single “Everything With You” has that old 8mm feel and fits perfect with the sound. If there is one song you need it is definitely “Everything With You.”
